Continuous Self-Improvement Is Important for the proper development of personality. But self-Love needs to be under control without converting you to a narcissist. And there is an outstanding line between narcissism and self-esteem, and you must know about the boundaries. We often see narcissists in our daily life, and they are the people who have very high thinking about themselves with their nose held high in the air. And the saddest part is they are never ready to acknowledge that, and they are critical towards any confrontation. So there is almost no way you can make them understand.
On the other way, self-Love means knowing self-worth, and you must learn to never settle for less. But as we are talking about the line, that warning comes handy here. Self-Love often comes from self-esteem and self-care. And the most crucial part is valuing your self-worth is never about feeling superior to others. You must not look down on others and blame them unnecessarily. There is no place to think you are excellent, and others are less than you. You must be proud of yourself but not at the cost of others. That is a harmful and isolating factor.
Continuous Self-Improvement Is Important: How To Balance
Not to feel overconfident is the key. If you think narcissism is grasping you somehow or fortunately, you have any honest friend around you listen to him or her. Think about it and select that particular behavior and try to rectify it. But first, you need to calm yourself and meditate to balance your mind correctly. It will correct your inner peace and personality also. Meditate until you are back to your emotional and original self.
It is a simple and easy mental exercise, but you need the perseverance to do it continuously. If you fall back in between, you have to start all over again. Firstly, choose a comfortable and peaceful corner in your home. Then sit straight on the floor. If you have any leg problems to sit on the ground, then use a chair. But, be comfortable and close your eyes gently. Then feel all your tensed and pulled muscles and relax them one by one. Now imagine a light spot in between your brows and stare at it with your closed eyes.
Some Other Process
Relax your body and look inside your mind. It may take some time to calm down that nonstop chatter of your inner self. But don’t be disappointed, you will attain this gradually. You will become calmer and composed even in a difficult situation.
Think why this thought is disturbing you, who or what is causing this. After analyzing, you will understand after some point; these thoughts can not interrupt or affect you anymore. You are more peaceful and kind to the people now. You can forgive them now because the grudge you are holding against them is causing harm to you. Not them, not anybody else, only you. So let it go, not for anybody else, only because you deserve to live peacefully and enjoy your life.
